Internal Refurbishment to Town House at Jeffrey’s Place, Camden

The brief was to provide two workrooms and renovate a spiral staircase. A particular feature within one room was a door with fibre optic lighting incorporated within the sandblasted glass, the lights lending themselves to various flexible arrangements. For the spiral staircase, wraparound birch plywood shelving was introduced to form a drum of books, and a window design by artist Kate Maestri borrowed light from elsewhere in the house and provided a decorative feature.
